Why New York Academy of Music Stands Out
Month-to-Month Tuition — No Long-Term Commitment
Unlike many music schools that require full-semester or long-term upfront payments, we operate on a monthly tuition model. Families are never locked in — we believe confidence should be earned, not enforced.
Full-Time Support Team
While many studios are run solely by individual teachers or part-time staff, New York Academy of Music is supported by a dedicated full-time administrative team. We handle scheduling, communication, and support — so families are always taken care of.
Easy Adjustments, Real Flexibility
Need to change instructors? Adjust schedules? Ask questions?
We make the process clear, simple, and respectful — because music education should feel supportive, not stressful.
For advanced students seeking a trial lesson, we’re happy to arrange one upon request. Simply contact our office to schedule.

Admissions FAQs
Explore common questions regarding our admissions process and policies.
Do you require long-term contracts or semester commitments?
No.
At New York Academy of Music, tuition is charged month-to-month only. We do not require long-term contracts or full-semester upfront payments. Families are free to continue as long as they are happy and seeing progress — without being locked into extended commitments.
How do we get started if we’re interested?
Most families begin by simply reaching out.
You’re welcome to call, text, email, or visit us in person to ask questions and learn more. Our team will gladly walk you through programs, scheduling options, and expectations — with no pressure to enroll immediately.
Do you offer trial lessons?
Yes, we do offer trial lessons, particularly for more advanced students who would like to experience a lesson before enrolling.
That said, since tuition is billed month-to-month, many families choose to begin regular lessons directly, knowing there is no long-term commitment or financial risk.
What if we’re not sure which teacher is the right fit?
That’s completely okay — and very common.
If at any point a student would benefit from a different teaching approach, we’re happy to help make a change. Our team works closely with families to ensure each student is paired with an instructor that best supports their learning style and goals.
Who do we communicate with for questions or scheduling?
Unlike many small studios run by individual teachers, New York Academy of Music is supported by a dedicated full-time administrative team.
Our staff is here to assist with scheduling, questions, and ongoing support — ensuring clear communication and a smooth experience for families.
Is there pressure to enroll right away after we inquire or visit?
Not at all.
We encourage families to take their time, think things through, and ask as many questions as needed. Whether you enroll right away or decide later, our doors are always open and our team is happy to help.
What happens if our schedule changes or we need flexibility?
We understand that schedules evolve.
Our month-to-month structure allows families to make adjustments more easily, and our team will work with you to find solutions whenever possible. Flexibility and transparency are core to how we operate.
Why does New York Academy of Music use a month-to-month tuition model?
Because we are confident in the quality of our instruction and service.
We believe families should stay because they want to, not because they’re tied to long-term payments. Our month-to-month model reflects our commitment to trust, flexibility, and student satisfaction.
